HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN GROUP SWIM CLASSES?

Part of what makes the lessons at Blacktip Swim School so effective is our compact class sizes. Each class will never exceed more than four students at a time and maintain a 4:1 student to instructor ratio.

 

ARE THERE ANY REGISTRATION FEES?

There is a $35 annual registration fee that is included per registered family.

DO I PAY BY CLASS?

All class payments are made monthly.

ARE LESSONS REFUNDABLE?

Lessons are non-refundable, however lesson credits are granted on a per-student basis for those that qualify.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

Blacktip Swim School offers Military Service Member and Educator discounts for all individuals who qualify. In addition we offer group discounts as well as select promotions throughout the year.

 

HOW MANY LESSONS CAN I TAKE IN A WEEK?

Blacktip Swim School students can take groups lessons up to three times a week at a discounted rate. During the summer months, we offer Super Swim Camps which provides 5 lessons/week for expedited learning.

SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR A SWIM DIAPER?

All swimmers 3 and under are required to wear a reusable swim diaper for each swim lesson even if they are potty trained.

SHOULD I BRING GOGGLES?

A good pair of swim goggles is highly recommended to avoid interference and eye discomfort for kids and adults. Snorkeling goggles are prohibited.

INCLEMENT WEATHER?
In the event of inclement weather, Blacktip Swim School reserves the right to cancel classes for safety reasons. In the event that classes are canceled ahead of scheduled times, Blacktip Swim School will notify clients and will allow makeup classes for missed time. If classes are canceled during a lesson due to inclement weather, Blacktip Swim School will also allow makeup classes for clients.
